Young singer-guitarist Raj Jain, who makes music under the name RÃJ, debuted last fall with the cinematic song “Ghost,” and the 20-year-old from Newbury Park ladles on even more intimacy in his follow-up, “Let Me Love You.” Like a lot of emerging electro crooners, RÃJ is more about soundscape than song, and here his simple entreaty is elevated to three minutes of oozing emotion. “Let me Love You,” with “Ghost” as the B-side, is out via Bella Union as RÃJ makes his live debut supporting fellow Newbury Parkers the Neighbourhood in the U.K.
