If you need something to get over the hump on hump day, L.A. trio Criminal Hygiene has got you covered. Now back from tour with the Orwells, your beloved Echo Park party boys are back with another rowdy tune that’s got both grit and hook. “Raid” is appropriately an attack on the peace and quiet, a pummeling garage rock song that has just enough space for the collective “ooh-oohs” but tight enough to get the job done when some adrenaline is necessary. Rock on. Sing along. Just try not to break anything if you’re still at work. “Raid” is now available as a split 7-inch split with Dagos via Summer Bummer Records. “Nilsson Schmilsson” fans will appreciate the artwork.
