Stream: Tennis System, ‘Memories & Broken Dreams’

On the heels of last year’s “Part Time Punks Session” EP, singer-guitarist-noisemeister Matty Taylor has kicked things back into overdrive with his shoegazing outfit Tennis System. Working with producer/engineer Ulysses Noriega, whose credits can be found on records by the Wedding Present, Peter Murphy and Youth Brigade, among others, Tennis System has completed its second full-length “Technicolour Blind,” due Oct. 21 via PaperCup Music. The new single “Memories & Broken Dreams” finds Taylor evoking memories of that corner of the loud, proud ’90s populated by the likes of Swervedriver and Drop Nineteens.
