We’ve already waxed a bit about Rocco DeLuca’s new self-titled album, made with producer Daniel Lanois and just out on 429 Records. Lead single “Colors of the Cold” sets the tone for the record – enchanting and almost surreal, it’s a song DeLuca calls “a letter to the hills of California, and a little bit of the magic that still exists out there, in some of that untouched country.” The video, produced and directed Troy Critchlow and Davey Cooperwasser, takes you on a slow ride through some of the imagery DeLuca conjures up. As he sings, “Away, away, away we go.”
