Stream: Air Life, ‘Every Now & Then’ (ft. Senay Kenfe)

air lifeFollowing up their smooth R&B lead single “Tell Me Anything,” L.A. quartet Air Life releases “Every Now & Then.” Turning up the funk, incorporating a time lapse and dipping in to hip-hop with some help from Senay Kenfe (the Natives), the new track once again features Taylor Dexter’s enthusiastic vocals, slick percussion from Brijesh Pandya, and a mean jazz duet between Ray Babinski on bass and Vicky Nguyen on keys. Produced by Ryder Bach (Body Parts), the ’70s stylings hold strong and continue to help distinguish Air Life from other emerging pop acts. If past Hall and Oates and Musiq Soulchild albums were thrown together in a blender, this track is what you’d be pouring out. Drink up and get down. “Every Now & Then” is out now via New Professor.
