Video: Noah Gundersen, ‘Ledges’

1

As the temperature turn a bit chillier and Christmas decorations are slowly but surely making their way onto rooftops, many people’s music tastes turn a bit towards acoustic guitars and gorgeous melodies. That’s where Seattle singer-songwriter Noah Gundersen comes in with his latest album “Ledges,” which came out earlier on this year. Similar to the Irish folk troubadour Damien Rice, Gundersen has an impeccable and heartbreaking way of describing not just relationships, but life in general, that’s instantly relatable. The 25-year-old’s solo full-length, self-produced and made in the studio of Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard in Seattle, follows three EPs, plus an album he released in 2010 fronting the band the Courage. Performing alongside his sister, Anna (on violin), and a few other touring members, his shows have proven transfixing.
