Tennis System are still basking in the glow of the critical acclaim surrounding their second LP ‘Technicolour Blind,’ released late last year via PaperCup Music. This year they’ve already played Shaun White’s Air + Style festival and now they’re gearing up for an April residency at The Echo. Matty Taylor and company have just released a video for their latest single “Memories & Broken Dreams.” The song focuses on Taylor’s time in L.A., keeping secrets, and compares Los Angeles to Tennis System’s hometown of Washington D.C. It even comes complete with a Bukowski quote. The video has the band partly singing along and playing with light bulbs on strings in a downtown L.A. abandoned building. Check it out and get lost in black and white silhouettes, bricks, and shoegaze.
