Cathedrals to kick off this year’s Saturdays Off the 405 series at the Getty Center on May 16

San Francisco synth-pop duo Cathedrals will kick off the popular Saturdays Off the 405 series at the Getty Center. The monthly series, which is free and all-ages, brings live music to the museum’s courtyard; this year it begins at 6 p.m. May 16. The lineup for the rest of the summer has not yet been announced. On the strength of their debut EP, Cathedrals — singer Brodie Jenkins and beatmaker Johnny Hwin — played a sold-out show at the Echo in February.
