L.A. quartet Parade of Lights felt as if they were standing atop the medal stand a little over a year ago, when their single “Golden” was splashed all over television during NBC’s broadcast of the Winter Olympics, as well as infiltrating ESPN’s Super Bowl promos and “The Voice.” The band — singer-guitarist Ryan Daly, drummer Anthony Improgo, bassist Randy Schulte and keyboardist Michelle Ashley — have spent the interim working on their debut full-length, “Feeling Electric,” which is due June 2 via Atsralwerks Records. The title track is a typically synth-drenched slice of optimism, marching right into the mainstream of electro-pop artists whose meticulously produced, disarmingly bombastic tunes seem crafted for arenas full of teenagers. Parade of Lights will get a chance to stage their songs in that environment, too — they’ll open for fellow Angelenos AWOLNATION on a tour that starts in June.
