Eleven conditional sentences derived from a day spent at the Jukely/Buzz Bands LA Stage at Echo Park Rising on Saturday:

1) If Andy Clockwise wants to drag you onstage to perform while he and drummer Stella Mogzawa (Warpaint) do their thing — or if he invites to bang a cymbal from your station in the audience — just do it.

2) If any band can turn vintage smooth R&B into a thing you can pound tallboys to, it’s Air Life.

3) If Liphemra isn’t signed to 4AD or some art-minded label like it soon, somebody is missing the boat.

4) If Golden Daze doesn’t remind you of Spiritualized in the best possible way, you should spend some time floating in space with the rest of the ladies and gentlemen. (Alas, there are no songs online yet, but soon, we hear.)

5) If you can pigeonhole Kid Bloom’s strain of indie-rock (except to say that it’s pretty gripping), you’re better with words than us.

6) If Paper Pilots’ power-pop doesn’t put a smile on your face, maybe you’ve been sucking on too many lemons?

7) If DTCV’s album isn’t far and away the best thing out on Lolipop Records, then I’m missing something. (Oh, and James Greer’s Batman guitar is an action movie waiting to happen.)

8) If my head ever stops spinning from Draemings’ “Teen Dream Death Machine,” I’m going to have a nice meal and a nap.

9) If there’s any one song on the L.A. landscape that absolutely nails the ’80s, it’s “1/M/T” by Mirror Talk.

10) If Lael Neale didn’t make you believe in angels, maybe her little album with the curious title, “I’ll Be Your Man,” will.

11) If you need a man who can cobble together a killer set based on vague three-word descriptions of your desired vibe, DJ Bumbaclot is your guy.
