When Superhumanoids first introduced “Anxious in Venice,” the first single from their forthcoming sophomore album “Do You Feel OK?,” it was immediately obvious the L.A. trio had turned up the dial up a few notches from 2013’s dreamier, more introspective “Exhibitionists.” They have since reinforced that notion with a second song, “Norwegian Black Metal,” and the video for “Anxious,” which was filmed in the early-morning hours in Venice, and finds singer Sarah Chernoff looking restive if not outright discombobulated, and is about as literal an interpretation of the song as you could find, and might give you vertigo if you focus on it too intently. Maybe we’ll feel OK after the new album is out, Sept. 11.
