Canadian duo MSTRKRFT took it to the people on Friday night at the Regent Theater. Rather than perform the stage, Jesse F. Keeler and Al-P set up their rig on the floor of the venue, separated from the crowd only by some four-foot barriers. It gave plenty of fans a chance to be railbirds and snap photos as the duo ripped through an hour-plus set. Some fans watched from onstage. It followed sets from Tamara Sky and Franki Chan, done in the traditional manner.
