Video: Sun Drug, ‘Soaked’

When we premiered Sun Drug’s song “Soaked” back in August, we invoked the term “anxiety attack,” and the L.A. quartet’s new video for the song only stokes the fires of paranoia. Directed and edited by Taylor Brown and Brian Randall and filmed (in part using a drone) by Justin Bell, the clip metes out a little “I, Robot” flashback as singer Steven Wilkin’s visage is projected on a cube in the middle of the band rocking out. The band says it’s “about false hope and ceaselessly teetering upon the brink of destruction,” but when it’s over we somehow feel more human. We’re always teetering, after all. Sun Drug’s debut EP, along with the video, is available for free download here.
