Last year, Dent May put out a holiday mixtape called “I’ll Be Toned For Christmas,” featuring songs for working out. This year, he made a big leap from toned to stoned. Imagine him in a relaxed state, perhaps chonging the bong himself, reminiscing on last year’s creation, when the marvelous revelation hit him, to write, “I’ll Be Stoned For Christmas,” a song about going home for the holidays and getting high…inspired by lots of true stories. The video, directed by Robbie Hillyer Barnett, follows a Hollywood girl called Cherry to her hometown, where she goes to the mall, high as a red-nosed reindeer soaring through the sky.
