Jewel’s Catch One, which closed this past summer after a 42-year run, will officially re-open in February as Union Nightclub.

Longtime owner Jewel Thais-Williams in November sold the venue to Mitch Edelson, scion of the family that owns Silver Lake’s Club Los Globos.

Since the venue’s going-away bash in July, the club (4067 W. Pico Blvd.) has been used for one-offs and parties — in fact, there’s a New Year’s Eve party this week. Currently the first show booked under the Union moniker is Canadian electronic musician Tim Hecker on April 7. But the first tweet on Union’s new Twitter feed says: “February 12, 2016.” Stay tuned.

The venue’s upcoming schedule may be found here.
