► Deep Sea Diver, the Seattle quartet fronted by O.C. native Jessica Dobson, play the Echo in support of their new album “Secrets,” which comes out Friday. It’ll be an album-of-the-year contender for those who like to make lists. Portland’s Radiation City, whose very good album “Synesthetica” is just out as well, headlines the night. Water Slice opens.
► She Wants Revenge [see interview with Justin Warfield] does the first of three SoCal reunion dates, headlining the Fonda Theater with Chris Holmes opening.
► Miranda Lee Richards celebrate the release of her new album “Echoes of the Dreamtime” — her first album in seven years — with a show at the Satellite, joined by Pete Molinari and Lael Neale.
► And Cass McCombs’ the Skiffle Players — an all-star lineup featuring McCombs along with Farmer Dave Scher, Neal Casal, Dan Horne and Aaron Sperske — perform at the Troubadour.
