Cullen Omori, the former Smith Westerns frontman who last month released his solo debut “New Misery,” has been forced to postpone a batch of West Coast tour dates, including a show scheduled Thursday night at L.A.’s Teragram Ballroom.

Omori’s tour van broke down en route to a Saturday date in Vancouver, Canada. In addition, he reported via Twitter, “While in Seattle trying to figure out if I should scrap it, someone broke into the rental van and stole all my clothes.”

On Facebook, Omori joked about “the irony of naming this tour ‘Sad Guy No More’” Stay tuned for a happier make-up date.
