Ofelia K sings softly, like secrets are spilling from her soul and you’re one of the precious few in her inner circle. She debuted her lightly produced electro-folk last November with the “Plastic Flower” EP, musical diary entries that waver between vulnerable and wizened. Her latest two singles, auguring a new EP, occupy the same spaces: “Cinco” is playfully touched by other voices and effects; “Bad Boys” plucks along all heartbroken, a song, she says, is “about the complexity of toxic relationships and the heartbreak and struggle we endure in silence.” Which makes us curious about the new press photo: Did somebody send her the flowers, or did she pick them herself?
