More than a year after they brought their audacious song-and-dance to Coachella, L.A. quartet Saint Motel, purveyors of horn-infused earworm “My Type,” will release their sophomore album, “Saintmotelevision” on Oct. 21.

There’s no new music to share yet, but the foursome — A/J Jackson, Aaron Sharp, Dak Lerdamornpong and Greg Erwin — dropped the news in conjunction with the announcement of a tour that will bring them to downtown’s Belasco Theater on Sept. 16. The new album, produced by Lars Stalfors (Cold War Kids, Matt & Kim), Tim Pagnotta (Walk The Moon) and Jackson himself, is the follow-up to 2012’s self-released “Voyeur.”
