Chinatown Summer Nights: Sonny Boy Thorn, Beginners, Dream Club, more on Aug. 20

Rockers Sonny Boy Thorn and Dream Club and indie-pop quartet Beginners head up the lineup on the Live Music Stage for the third and final Chinatown Summer Nights on Aug. 20.

They will be joined by Tower, Ramonda Hammer, Lone Kodiak and Night Talks at the free, all-ages affair that also features a KCRW DJ stage (this month manned by Jason Bentley and Mathieu Schreyer), along with artisan displays, family activities, a craft and vintage market, roaming performers, a culinary stage, food trucks and a beer garden.

Sonny Boy Thorn is the new band helmed by Davie Dennis of Voxhaul Broadcast and Christopher Thorn of Blind Melon/AWOLNATION. Dream Club is the latest venture from Justin Warfield of She Wants Revenge.

The live music starts at 5 p.m. Set times:
