The green, serene woods surrounding Crystal Lake in Azusa Canyon serve as the stage for dark-rocking East L.A. band Vision‘s”Inneraction” music video, directed by Greg Lazcano. “We chose the location because of the beautiful natural landscape. We wanted a location that evoked raw emotion,” says frontman Christopher Valer. Paying homage to the Doors by traversing the same canyon used in the iconic band’s music video for “Crystal Ship,” Valer points a vintage camera at the viewer like a weapon on a bright sunny day; the leather jackets, shoegaze and smashing guitars seem less of a contrast and more at home in mother nature’s rocky terrain. “Our songs come to fruition very organically so we felt this location was the perfect setting,” Valer adds. “Inneraction” is from last summer’s debut album on Burger Records, “Inertia.”  Valer and bandmates Phillip Dominick and Benjamin Nastase are currently working on a new album, “In Prime,” with plans for an end-of-the-year release.
