Two years after their 10-year reunion show, the Dios saga continues. Main man Joel Morales — aka Joel Jerome — says that a new Dios album, “Life Between the Tides,” is on the way, and last week saw the release of the hazy, pretty new single “Ain’t Nothin’ Here to Bother You No More.” The digital release came via his Psychedelic Thriftstore Recordings label, and he plans to start releasing a couple singles at month. “I personally am sitting on way too much stuff and I need to start releasing it one way or another,” Morales says. “I’ve never been an ‘album’ guy; I don’t write or record songs in batches, so this format fits my workflow much better and will make me finally get stuff out there without waiting on the bureaucracy of labeldom and the molasses pace they work in.” His wave of singles will also include some of the artists he’s worked with in the studio, including Clementine Creevy from Cherry Glazerr, Paige Stark from Tashaki Miyaki and the Creation Factory (members of Mystic Braves).
