The latest single from L.A. duo Oyster Kids is that semi-lucid dream you have just before you wake up from a hangover, in which you’re playing a video game in outer space while your friends party down below. The seductively groovy “40 Nights” is the fourth outing in the past year from Andrew Eapen and Barrett Slagle, who immediately made friends and influenced people with their debut “Creepy,” released one year ago next week. They’ve slowly put together a live show and have a busy two months ahead — a residency in October, a festival date in November and two dates supporting Aurora later in the month. Take it easy on the party life, though, lest you end up with “wasted morning eyes.”
