Up-and-coming British singer-songwriter Barns Courtney will kick off the Grove’s Summer Concert Series, which brings four free Wednesday night shows to the L.A. retail center this month.

After Courtney opens the series this week, ensuing shows will feature horn sensation Spencer Ludwig (along with Utah quartet The Aces), veteran rockers Gin Blossoms (along with rebooted ’90s faves Letters to Cleo) and Asia Featuring John Payne.

The shows run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The full schedule:

12: Spencer Ludwig with The Aces
19: Gin Blossoms with Letters to Cleo
26: Asia Featuring John Payne and Journey former lead singer Steve Augeri
