Chinatown Moon Festival: Twin Temple, Pom Poms, Lost Beach and more on Oct. 7

What to do when the moon is full? Celebrate.

Gothic blues quintet Twin Temple and sultry garage-rockers Pom Poms head up the lineup for Chinatown’s 79th annual Mid-Autumn Moon Festival on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Also performing on the Live Music Stage will be Lost Beach, Oddnesse, Low Hum, Bloody Death Skull and Bien Bien.

The music starts at 5 p.m. on the Live Music Stage, located at Mandarin Plaza (970 N. Broadway, at Bernard), opposite the festival’s craft beer garden.

Free and all-ages, the Moon Festival also features, artisans, arts & crafts workshops, a culinary stage, a sustainable bazaar and, in the Central Plaza, cultural performances including Sean Wang on Guzheng (Chinese zither), the East Wind Lion Dance Troupe and Shaolin Gongfa.

The Live Music Stage is curated by Buzz Bands LA.
