► Electronic pop singer James Blake has scheduled two full-band shows in December at the Cathedral Sanctuary at Immanuel Presbyterian Church on Wilshire. Last year, Blake released his third album, “The Colour In Anything,” and earlier this year released a video for “My Willing Heart” that starred Natalie Portman. The shows, which also feature Connan Mockasin, are Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9. Presale for both the Friday and Saturday shows starts at 10 a.m. Thursday; general on-sale is 10 a.m. Friday.

► OK Go will give a special performance on Nov. 4 at UCLA’s Royce Hall — the quartet will play live accompanying their iconic music videos. Tickets ($29-$49) are going fast and available here.

► “Blank Generation,” the influential album by Richard Hell and the Voidoids, will get the deluxe-reissue treatment on the 40th anniversary of its release by Sire Records. Included: the remastered original, alternate recordings, live and bootleg tracks and a booklet with previously unpublished photos. It comes via Rhino, out (of course) on Record Store Day, Nov. 24.

► Looking for something completely different this weekend? The nonprofit The Echo Society is throwing a three-day festival — in a house. That’s right, “Echo VI: Family” will feature 21 composers and 50 musicians performing throughout seven rooms in a Silver Lake private residence. Among the players: Julianna Barwick, Drum & Lace, Morgan Kibby, Joseph Trapanese, Minna Choi, Vardan Ovsepian, Chris Taylor (of Grizzly Bear) and Rob Simonsen.
