L.A.-birthed duo Gliss have been splitting their time between Berlin, Copenhagen and SoCal while prepping “Strange Heaven,” their sixth album. The duo — L.A. native Martin Klingman and Danish singer/multi-instrumentalist Victoria Cecilia — pick up where they left off with the 2015 full-length “Pale Reflections,” forging abrasive but somehow pretty post-punk and shoegaze. Typically ethereal, nocturnal and bristling with detachment, the single “My Lie” is sonic dry ice — here, the sublimation of a once-promising love. Get bummed at high volume.
