Video: Media Jeweler, ‘Hula Hoop’

Miss Hoopdidoo, aka Amana Lee, stars in the Anthony Lucido-directed video for Media Jeweler’s “Hula Hoop.” Twirling on a sunny rooftop overlooking L.A., it kind of makes you wonder, and hope, that amazing things are happening on a roof at any given moment. Meanwhile, down on the street a man in a blue dress spins in circles next to a gas station, which is certainly more commonplace. This instrumental song finds the band, James Aranda, Sam Farzin, Colin Knight, and Thom Lucero, getting mathy as they work out ways to live up to their sophomore album’s promise of “1-800-SUCCEED”, which came out March 30 on Fire Talk Records.
