Wrapping up the last few shows of their current tour, Oklahoma-bred indie-rock band Broncho came stomping into the Morrocan Lounge on Friday night. The combination of Ben King ripping guitar solos, Penny Pitchlynn keeping things together on bass and Nathan Price pounding away behind the amp stacks created a cacophony of rock that expertly backed the noisy guitar and vocals of frontman Ryan Lindsey.

Broncho played a 23-song set of their loud, heavy indie rock into the early hours of Saturday— kicking the night off with their 2017 single, “Get in My Car.”

Preceding Broncho, California quartet Howlin Rain celebrated the release of their fifth album, “The Alligator Bride.” Local rockers the Paranoyds opened the night as a last-minute, unannounced add to the show.
