Ahead of Friday’s release of their new album, “Marauder” (via Matador Records), Interpol have released a video for their latest single, “If You Really Love Nothing.”

Director Hala Matar turns the stereotypical tables around as a hyper-amorous Kristen Stewart slinks around a debaucherous club, cornering and dipping her fingers and lips in every male in sight as she wanders away from her partner, played by Finn Wittrock. Wondering at his counterpart’s absence, she returns to stuff his face with pasta before gorging in a kiss with him. A moment later, she just as easily takes a swig of wine to cleanse her palate before turning to make out with another man, this time transparently in front of him, clarifying that neither are anything personal to her. With Interpol as the house band overlooking these circumstances, the shattered Wittrock is eventually thrown out of the club and Stewart steals a car to get herself home. The video essentially is the embodiment of the new album title, with Stewart given the direction “to roam or go around in quest of plunder; make a raid for booty.” But isn’t this just another night in Hollywood?
