Richard Swift, the beloved musician and producer who died in July at age 41, will be saluted at a tribute concert Dec. 13 at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever.
Swift’s posthumous album “The Hex” was released in September, and the music will be performed by many L.A.-based musicians who had ties to him — Cold War Kids, Lucius, Foxygen, Gardens & Villa and other guests.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit Swift’s family. Tickets go on sale here at noon Friday.
* James Mercer of the Shins (with whom Swift played from 2011 to ’16), Damien Jurado, Mynabirds and Pure Bathing Culture have been added to the show, and Tim Heidecker and Nick Thune will host..
A similar concert, featuring Nathaniel Rateliff, Hamilton Leithauser, Jessie Baylin, Valerie June, Cults and more, is scheduled for Dec. 9 in New York.
