► Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, celebrating their 40th anniversary, head up ’80s Night #7 at the Microsoft Theater, joined by the Bangles, Bananarama, Rob Base, Farrington + Mann (members of When in Rome UK) and the Flirts.
► FIDLAR plays a sold-out show at the Teragram Ballroom in celebration of their new album “Almost Free,” with No Parents and the Side Eyes supporting.
► James Supercave celebrate the release of their new EP “Alarm Will Sound” with a show at the Troubadour. Get there early for Winter and Low Hum.
► Almost 40 years since the release of “London Calling,” the music of Joe Strummer and the Clash will be celebrated at Gates of the West, a Benefit for California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund, the the Joe Strummer Foundation and Music & Memory. The lineup at the Roxy features Mike Watt + The Missingmen, Jakob Dylan, Jesse Malin, Wayne Kramer, Adam Weiner (Low Cut Connie), Suzi Gardner (L7), Ian Astbury and more.
► Sunflower Bean visit the Bootleg Theater in support of their new EP “King of the Dudes,” with Launder opening.
► Synth-pop artist George Clanton headlines the Lodge Room, supported by Surfing, Satin Sheets and Esprit.
► It’s Jesse Boykins III at the Moroccan Lounge, joined by Leon Thomas and Rome Green.
► And Ozomatli celebrate the release of their new single “Libertad” at Zebulon, with Cut Chemist and Chali 2na joining in.
