Rappers and friends Open Mike Eagle and Serengeti’s new group Cavanaugh released their collaborative album “Time And Materials” at the stroke of 12 last night. It was produced entirely by Mike, and features guest spots throughout from Busdriver, Hemlock Ernst, and P.O.S. They also all jump on the track “Typecast,” spitting dense verses over a beat with a ghoulish synth choir vibe, clipped air horn samples, and drums on drums. After a handful of shows in the states this year, the duo will play shows in January throughout Europe.
