Tonight in L.A.

[His licks are ageless, but Neil Young turns 63 today. Maybe tonight is the night:]

What a fine evening for psych- and classic rock: You can get your squalor on with Swedish quartet Dungen [pictured] at the Echo, or rock with the Entrance Band and the Growlers at Spaceland, or check out the latest from the International Noise Conspiracy (their Rick Rubin-produced album “The Cross of My Calling” is out Nov. 25) with local Tee Pee Records artists Night Horse at El Cid. … At big ol’ Club Nokia, Lupe Fiasco oughta get folks out of their seats. … And some nifty indie shows: Crooked Fingers, with Port O’Brien, at the Troubadour, and Adam Stephens (of Two Gallants) at Tangier. Happy humpday.
