Jason Lytle near a deal with Anti-

Singer-songwriter Jason Lytle is close to signing a deal with Epitaph imprint Anti-, sources say. No official word from the label yet, but it’s been a little more than three years since Lytle dissolved the 13-year-old indie-pop quintet Grandaddy and fled his native Modesto. Now happily ensconced in “Somewheres, Montana” (says his MySpace page), Lytle has been finishing up a solo album, which, he indicated on his fans’ message board, that he plans to tour behind with “a small band.”
