henryrollins2-marcgoldsteinHenry Rollins is going to have watch his language again. The songwriter/spoken-word artist/author and former Black Flag frontman returns to the FM airwaves with a weekly show from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday nights on KCRW-FM. Rollins hosted a show on the late, great Indie 103.1 until the station changed formats in January. He had taken his adventurous show to the online Indie 103, but now he’ll be back on the terrestrial airwaves. “I am very happy to be a new member of the KCRW family,” Rollins says in the station’s news release. “Some of the first radio work I ever did was many years ago at KCRW under the guidance of Deirdre O’Donoghue, so it’s a great turn of events to be back over 20 years later with a show of my own. To say that I am excited is an understatement.” Rollins will appear on “Morning Becomes Eclectic” with KCRW music director Jason Bentley at 11:15 a.m. Thursday.
