[Some background on this update: The Airborne Toxic Event has been forced to postpone three shows — and maybe more to come — because frontman Mikel Jollett has laryngitis. For supporting band the Henry Clay People, who were eking out an existence and covering their tour costs with their small guarantees and revenue from merchandise sales, this been the equivalent of a financial meltdown.
