Straight outta the jet Propulsion Laboratory, those purveyors of shoegazey rock noir Nightfur [pictured] celebrates the release of its album “Illusions” at the Silverlake Lounge; the Breakups open. … Sucker for Pumps mark the release of its “Lights” EP at the Troubadour, joined by Giant State and others. … Also: Taylor Hicks at the Roxy; Golem at the Echo; Smith and Pyle at Spaceland; and the French Semester at the Knitting Factory.
