Tip of the cap to the schedulers, who arranged the sets so that the main stage was empty during almost all of Leonard Cohen’s performance at the Outdoor Theatre. There’s nothing I can say about Cohen, 74, that the Times’ Ann Powers did not say in her review of his Nokia Theatre show last week. But I will venture that when Cohen and his nine-piece ensemble started playing on Friday, it was as if the entire desert breathed a sigh of relief.
