These tracks off the new album by Long Beach trio the Valley Arena sounds almost pop compared to some of the band’s Fugazi-inspired material. Guitars stab then screech; the rhythm drags you along for the ride. The album, “We Died,” is out May 21 as a vinyl EP (with a digital download) on JaxArt. The trio’s record-release show is May 21 at Alex’s Bar.
