Buzz Bands photographic contributor Kristy Sparow has relocated to Paris for a creative freshener, and in addition to adding an intercontinental edge to her portfolio, she will be sending this website occasional music-related galleries. In one of her first outings last week, she visited Olympia Hall, where L.A. songstress Juliette Commagere was opening for Ry Cooder and Nick Lowe. Commagere, well-known to L.A. indie audiences after her successful Echo residency in May built on the momentum she gained with the release of her debut, “Queens Die Proudly,” was fronting a five-piece band.
