Seems like Spaceland talent buyer Jennifer Tefft has been a fixture on Silver Lake scene since before there was a Silver Lake scene. She’s worked with thousands of bands along the way, and now some are rallying to help her raise funds to defray the daunting costs of medication for her ongoing battle with blood clots.
She Wants Revenge will headline Thursday’s “Kick Out the Clots – A Benefit for Jennifer Tefft” – an upstairs/downstairs affair at the Echo and the Echoplex” that features a host of acts who have made their mark in the Eastside clubs that Spaceland books: Living Things, Dead Meadow, Great Northern, Rocco DeLuca, Nico Stai, Useless Keys and the LA Ladies Choir; plus a DJ set from Moving Units. (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, originally scheduled to perform an acoustic set, has had to cancel; one more band will be added, so stay tuned.) Update: The Honorary Title has been added. New set times below.
