Dangerbird Records artists Eulogies [pictured] and Bad Veins head up the bill for a night at the Echo that benefits the Pablove Foundation [see yesterday’s post]. … At the Troubadour, Bill Callahan (ex-Smog) is joined by Drag City labelmates” Bachelorette. … Excellent lineup of local indie-pop bands at the Silverlake Lounge, including Go West Young Man, Marvelous Toy and the French Semester. … Soul merchants” Fitz and the Tantrums light up Club NME at Spaceland, with opening sets from Jenny O and Spirit Animal frontman Steve Cooper. … And Stone Temple Pilots headline a big (and sold-out) benefit for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at the House of Blues. … Also: Very Be Careful and Wait. Think. Fast at La Cita: Tony Lucca at the Hotel Cafe; the Stone Foxes at the Viper Room; Watts Ensemble at the Bootleg Theater; and Far East Movement at the Roxy.
