Video: The Lovemakers, ‘Naturally Lonely’

Bay Area electro kids the Lovemakers have been playing romantic for about four years now, with mixed results, but their swooning synth-pop has always drawn pretty enthusiastic audiences here. Now collaborators Lisa Light and Scott Blonde are no longer a couple – at least, not in that way – a relationship arc that is played out in their album titles, “Times of Romance” (released on Interscope imprint Cherrytree in 2005), the “Misery Loves Company” EP two years later and their forthcoming release “Let’s Be Friends.” Above, the video for “Naturally Lonely” (naughty language alert). Pass the Kleenex.
