L.A. noiseniks No Age have a new EP coming Oct. 6 – the four-song “Losing Feeling” will be released digitally and on 12-inch vinyl. (Sign up at the Sub Pop website to stream it.) Underground heroes Randy Randall and Dean Spunt seem to have lengthened their songwriting attention span here, to great effect. The guitar tones retain their scabrous melodicism, but the vocals are more out front.

||| Live: No Age performs Sept. 5 at the FYF Fest in downtown’s L.A. Historic Park. The duo also performs two shows Sunday at the Silent Movie Theater – Spunt and Randall will be playing their new score for Jean-Jacques Annaud’s 1988 movie “the Bear.” More info here.
