Eastern Conference Champions and Voxhaul Broadcast co-headline Buzz Bands LA’s One-Year Anniversary [details here] at the Echo. It’s an EP release party for both bands, and the bill is augmented by Samuel Stewart and Radio Freq. … Plenty else going on – the big stuff includes Pearl Jam [pictured] and Ben Harper & Relentless7 playing the sold-out Gibson Amphitheatre; Alice in Chains playing a sold-out Avalon; and Datarock rocking the El Rey Theatre. … Paper Route, who I saw open for Paramore on Tuesday night, plays a headlining show at Spaceland. … And the Ruby Friedman Orchestra kicks off the night at Bordello before Meaghan Smith headlines. … Also: Seasons at the Silverlake Lounge; Black Math Horseman at the Knitting Factory; the Horrors at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa; the New Royales at the Viper Room; the Mulhollands at Boardner’s; and Souls of Mischief at the Troubadour.
