The fun folks at Buddyhead are throwing a party at the Hotel Cafe, and the loaded lineup looks like this: Imaad Wasif, Dios, Olin and the Moon and Mini Mansions, among others. … Seasons, whose song “The Weight” will be somewhere near the top of our Buzz Bands LA Playlist ’09 [Oh, wait, did I give something away? Stay tuned for an announcement about that very playlist …] , headlines a good local bill at the Echo, with Downtown/Union and Jack Wilson Jr. among the supporting bands. … The Happy Hollows close out their Spaceland residency with support from the Pity Party [pictured] and Twilight Sleep. … Mississippi Man winds up its month at the Silverlake Lounge with help from Last American Buffalo, among others. … At the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, Pop Noir caps its “Noirvember” residency. … And Dashboard Confessional does a solo acoustic show at the Troubadour.
