Video: Nico Vega, ‘Gravity’

Nico Vega’s “Gravity” seems to be defying the forces of old age. The L.A. trio’s body-blasting rocker first appeared on 2007’s “No Child Left Behind” EP, then got a slight makeover for the band’s 2009 full-length on MySpace Records. Now, in the hands of director Marcus Dunstan – the man behind three of the movies in the “Saw” series as well as “the Collector” – it becomes a horror of epic proportions. Well, maybe not as horrific as your record label being gutted in the middle of your album cycle (MySpace Records laid off all but a handful of staffers in January), but downright scary. Drummer Dan Epand reportedly sustained a broken nose during the filming of this video. Careful out there.
