Devendra Banhart hits L.A. for his first proper show since the release last fall of his first major-label album, “What Will We Be.” As Devendra Banhart and the Grogs, he’s touring with the same group of musicians who made the album – guitarists Noah Georgeson and Rodrigo Aramante, bassist Lucky Remington and drummer Greg Rogove. The show, at the Wiltern, is not sold out. … Admiral Radley – the new quartet featuring Aaron Espinoza and Ariana Murray of Earlimart and Jason Lytle and Aaron Burtch of Grandaddy – plays the Bootleg Theater supported by the Henry Clay People. … The Ray Davies tour, which has the 88 as the supporting band as well as Davies’ backing band on Kinks songs, visits the Grove of Anaheim. … Also: The Low Anthem and Timber Timbre at Largo; the second of Janelle Monae’s two nights at the Viper Room; Samuel Stewart at the Hotel Cafe; Garotas Suecas and Bullied By Strangers at Spaceland; Cymbals Eat Guitars, and Freelance Whales at the Echo; the Loneliest Monk and Tiff Randol; World’s Greatest Ghost at the Silverlake Lounge; Endless Hallway at the Troubadour; and the Growlers at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach.
