We Are the World’s debut album”Clay Stones” came out this week on Manimal, and the eclectic electro kids are playing the second date of a three-week residency at the Echo to mark the occasion. Tonight they are joined by Montreal dance-rockers We Are Wolves [that’s their video for “Blue,” above], who are touring behind their third album, “Invisible Violence.” … Silver Lake orchestral pop band the Minor Canon is going on “indefinite hiatus” – but not before they play a show tonight at the Silverlake Lounge. … At 3 Clubs, Australia’s Jack Ladder is joined by two excellent SoCal acts, Pepper Rabbit and Regrets & Brunettes. … And HoneyHoney, who rolled out some great new songs last Thursday, continues its residency at the Hotel Cafe, joined by former labelmate Rocco DeLuca. … Also: Raekwon and U-N-I at the Echoplex; Bad Religion at the House of Blues Anaheim; Veil Veil Vanish, Seaspin, Repeater and In Waves at Spaceland; Depswa and Opus Dai at the Troubadour; the Alternates at the Roxy; Prohibition Rose at the Viper Room; and the Deluge at the Bootleg Theater.
